Woo Hoo! If you are a couponer like me, you know how frustrating it can be to shop at different Walgreens since they all seem to have their own coupon policies from store to store. (There used to not be any formal corporate policy.) So, while you could do one thing at one store, you may not be able to at the store down the street. (For instance, using a $2 coupon on an item for $1.99. Some stores would adjust the coupon to take off $1.99, other stores wouldn't let you use it at all because of the penny overage.) Well, I am SOOO happy to report that Walgreens finally got their act together, and they now have a formal corporate coupon policy posted on their website here. Yea! Print it out and carry it with you! According to this new policy, you CAN use a $2 coupon on a $1.99 item, and you CAN use two coupons on a BOGO sale. This is going to make things so much easier for us coupon freaks....I mean, users. :)Thursday, August 26, 2010
