PLAYING IN THE SNOW

Morgan has been chomping at the bit to get out and play in the snow. So, today while Kelsey napped, I took her out for a bit. She was giddy with excitement!

All dressed up and ready to go. (I just love the ponytail sticking out of Grandma's hat...too cute!)
Filling up her bucket with snow.

Happy as can be!

Climbing up a snowmound.

Getting stuck at the top. :)

Then sliding backwards down the mound on her tummy.

She loved rolling around in the snow and making snow angels.

Attempting to make a snowman. But it just wasn't good "packing snow."

Her best snow angel that she made.

She also spent quite a bit of time collecting "snowballs" that she found.

She was excited that she found a "big" one!

And then some were much smaller.

This one kinda looked like a heart.

Her "collection"

When we were done playing outside, I collected some fresh, untouched snow and we brought it in and made Snow Ice Cream! You can find the "recipe" HERE.

We didn't have any sprinkles for our ice cream, so we used mini chocolate chips instead. Delicious!
