A BIG ACCOMPLISHMENT

I have been working on a lot of fine motor / hand-eye coordination skills with Morgan lately. She hates if I try to have her use tweezers, tongs, clothespins, etc. I have also tried lacing beads before, but with little success (at least in using them to lace). Today, however, I had these Melissa and Doug Lacing Beads (that I found at a garage sale last week) out in her Tot Trays for her to play with, and she finally was able to figure out how to do it...without my help! She was so excited, and so was I! She did this for quite awhile, and loved that she could make her own necklace.
